Fun-Filled Monday Evening
Monday evening my two boys were doing a little boxing. Colton has been missing his time with his daddy wrestling and boxing since he's been gone. He couldn't wait until daddy returned home so he could burn some of his energy rough housing. They had snuggled on the couch that afternoon and taken a nap together, it was so sweet. When they woke up, Colton was ready to start playing. They've had a lot of time to make up for and Colton decided they would spend it boxing. Since Barry was able to come home with us today, they've been together every minute. Colton had a blast.
Daddy really took a lot of rough punches, but had a good time doing it. Most of the time daddy won, but there were a couple of times that Colton did.........but only when daddy gave in. They both enjoyed their time together. After boxing, Colton was ready next for wrestling. Daddy pleaded for a break, so Colton finally agreed. It was a shock to me when he decided to let daddy rest and actually sit down and watch some TV. Once that happened, Colton climbed up by him on the couch, snuggled up real close and was asleep in about 10 minutes. Awesome night.

Our Easter
Easter turned out to be a really good day for us. Barry and I got up Sunday morning and went to go pick up our little man from Nana's house. He had spent the night with her. When we arrived home, he saw his Easter basket sitting on the floor. He sat down beside it and started looking at everything.
He pulled out his Spiderman glider and wanted that opened first of all. Next he looked at his CARS stickers and Spiderman Activity Book, but then immediately put those down when he noticed the Play-Doh kit. Who cared about his candy and what was in his Easter eggs. Play-Doh was now first on his list of things to do. He couldn't even wait for breakfast, he was ready to tear that open and start playing right away. While Barry opened that for him so he could play, I began fixing breakfast. This boy just loves Play-Doh, so we were a hit as parents on this purchase!
I made eggs, bacon, waffles, hash browns and biscuits. When we sat down to finally eat the breakfast I had prepared for us, Colton was ready to say the blessing loud and proud! I love his prayer at the kitchen table, it's just short and sweet, but adorable. It goes like this, "GOD IS GREAT, GOD IS GOOD, THANK YOU JESUS, FOR OUR FOOD. AMEN!" I'm so thankful that we have planted prayer in his little heart to always thank the Lord for what we have. He supplies all of our needs and watches over us. We had a great morning all being together gathered around the kitchen table sharing our week and just enjoying each other.
Next, we got ready for church and headed out. We had a really good church service and then afterwards we headed to Nana's house for lunch. Nana had bought the boys some light up cars, so Colton was playing with that most of the afternoon.............until nap time! We had a really good Easter and now looking forward to our long awaited trip to Silver Dollar City later this week if the weather permits us to go. We can't wait.

Gator Riding Boys
Last Saturday when mom was watching Noah, she brought him up to the house so the boys could ride Colton's Gator. They always have fun riding the Gator together. This day was pretty funny, so I have to share this story. They were playing really well together, no fussing, no fighting, no picking at each other. They were even taking turns driving. It was GREAT! See below:
Noah took off without him. Colton was messing around with the tailgate and was being too slow, so Noah decided to leave him. I guess Colton should not have been taking his fine, sweet, slow time getting into the passenger's seat. He should've ran to get in..........anyways, mom and I thought it was funny. However...............Colton did NOT think it was funny at all. This is what he thought of the whole situation.
Mom and I were so proud, we were even commenting on how well the boys were getting along with each other and playing so nicely............when all of a sudden...........it was once again Noah's turn to drive. It's what happened next that was the kicker............TOO FUNNY!
Colton was walking around the Gator to get into the passenger's side of the Gator, when....................
When Noah had finished making his round, he circled back quickly and stopped by to pick up his crying cousin, Colton. He got over it pretty fast and those tears soon turned to laughter. What funny boys we have. Fighting cousins one minute and loving cousins the next.

Some Funny Faces
When we were over visiting Angel and Katie last Monday evening. The kids decided they wanted to play with the play-doh. As patient as Angel is, she got out the pla-doh and let them have at it. Once they started playing, the funny faces began. The kids don't even realize how funny they can be, but I could not pass up the opportunity to share these. I don't even need to write anything beside them, because they explain themselves. These pictures are just too cute not to post. I hope you all enjoy them.
Our Saturday Morning
Who knew today was going to be as chilly as it turned out to be? Last night I made a promise to take Colton to the park so he could play today and we could fly his kite. We got around and headed to the park with Nana. He brought his bubbles with him, because I mean come on, this boy loves his bubbles. He couldn't leave home without them. That little smile on his face is so adorable. It shows just how much he really does love blowing bubbles. My funny boy! This other picture looks like he is trying so hard to concentrate to blow the biggest bubble he possibly can.
After he blowed some bubbles and played with them, he then wanted to try some other things. Like sit on the teeter totter, hang from the monkey bars, slide and swing. We were having fun just watching him enjoy himself so much.
He decided he would even play some peek-a-boo with me. Love that little smiling face! I could eat it up and kiss and squeeze those precious cheeks off!!
We even attempted to fly his kite, but could never hardly even get it off the ground. I thought I would try it out first before I gave it to him to work his magic. However, today it wasn't windy enough. I'm hoping tomorrow we'll have better luck. While I was trying to get it to fly, I wasn't paying attention to what Colton was doing. Mom finally noticed him when he started taking pictures with my camera I had sit on the ground. That mister smarty-pants had grabbed my camera that I had sit on the ground, turned it on all by himself and took this picture. I believe he's going to be a photographer when he grows up. He loves to take pictures and he's not half bad.

Potato Casserole
Do you like hash browns, sour cream and cheese like me? How about all those items together in one dish? If that sounds good to you, this recipe is a must have! I enjoy making this dish so I can take it to our church pot luck dinners to share with everyone. The church always seems to enjoy it. I believe this is another recipe that will be a hit with you too! I received this several years ago from a good friend of mine from work. When she made it, I just fell in love with it because it was so tasty. I immediately had to get the recipe from her. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did the first time I tried it.
