Do you ever have food cravings? Something that you really want and you want it right now? When you think about it, you can almost taste it? I know what you are thinking at this exact moment, so let me stop you in your tracks and put your mind at ease. NO, I am not pregnant. This week I have been craving some homemade peanut butter fudge. I want that creamy, smooth, melt in your mouth peanut butter fudge. Do you know about the kind I'm talking about? It's awesome. I've never made any peanut butter fudge myself, but I've been on a mission to find the recipe I've been craving.
I was searching through my Grandma Martin's recipe box and found a couple different recipes for peanut butter fudge. However, I don't know which one was the melt in your mouth kind that I remember. So now I'll have to make both recipes just to find out which one I've been dreaming about. Oh poor me!!! Just kidding, I can't wait to make the peanut butter fudge recipes, it won't be a problem for me to make two batches and do a taste comparison. :)
Once I make them and perform my taste test, I'll let you know my favorite pick of the two and get back with you.

My Obsession With The Crock Pot
I can’t stand it any longer, I just have to share.
Lately I have been loving to cook different recipes in the crock pot. I
ABSOLUTELY love it! I mean ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY LOVE IT!!!! It’s
easy, it’s not a hassle, it makes roasts super
tender and the food just tastes great. What isn’t to love about the
crock pot? I mean come on, right?
Well now I just have to share another recipe I made over the weekend. I found it on this website a while back when I was searching for Barbecue Chicken recipes. For some reason, I never have good luck making any type of baked chicken in the oven, the chicken always turns out dry and I hate dry chicken! I know I overcook it every time, but I don't want to eat undercooked chicken, so I always seem to go overboard when cooking it. I just want to make sure the chicken is well done. However, this is an easy chicken recipe I found that you can make in the crock pot and it turns out moist and cooked every time. I believe it is a CROCK POT MUST KNOW RECIPE!!!! So hold on tight, this will blow you away………it’s that good, in my opinion anyways.
Zesty Slow Cooker Barbecue Chicken
source from allrecipes.com
source from allrecipes.com
6 frozen boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 (12oz) bottle barbeque sauce
1/2 cup Italian dressing
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Place chicken in the crock pot. Mix all other
ingredients together in a bowl, then pour it over the chicken. Cook on
high 3-4 hours or on Low 6-8 hours. Remove the chicken from the crock pot and place on a large plate, take two forks and shred the chicken before making your sandwiches. We just eat them on hamburger buns, but you can eat them on any type of bread you like most. Hope you enjoy!

Hang on Tight, Here it Goes.........
This is extremely new to me, so please bear with me as I try to write about my family life. I hope to share some interesting experiences, thoughts,
ideas and also share some old time family recipes along the way. Just know that I'm no great author, so I won't be dumb-founding you with large words that you
don't understand. I'm just a very simple person.
I like to tell it how it is without sugar coating
anything.
Why not just be totally honest about life?
I just want to be real, upfront and honest with people. My philosophy is to treat people the way you want to be treated, so I think why not carry that into the "blogging world" too?
Blog about what is real to you. I believe people will read it, even possibly enjoy it and come back for more because they believe in what you are writing about.
I want people to be honest with their blogging and hold nothing back, so that's how I want to blog. I want to give what I want to receive. Am I even making any sense?
I just think we all get caught up in this crazy, fast paced world sometimes and try to fit in a little bit too much, so we end up changing who we really are. We sometimes try to go along with the flow, instead of trying to paddle against the current. Let's not do that, let's just be who we are.
I can admit it gracefully, I'm just a simple wife and mother trying to survive in a great big world. Come along with me on this great blogging adventure.
